WHAT DO YOU DO?
I do nature and wildlife photography. I’m currently living out of my car as I travel around North America. I shoot almost exclusively with the iPhone and do all my image processing on it as well. I sell my pictures online to make a living and pay for gas. I explore everyday when I’m on the road and always see something worth photographing.

WHY ARE YOU DOING IT?
I take pictures because I need a creative outlet and it’s also a fun way to pay the bills. I enjoy capturing moments to help me remember where I’ve been and what I’ve done. I have an exploring obsession right now that I can’t turn off so I’m taking pictures all along the way. I also want to show that anyone with an iPhone can take images that people would pay to hang on their walls. It’s all about putting yourself in a good time and place and a great image is impossible not to take.

WHAT / WHO INFLUENCES YOU?
I’m influenced by nature, movies, books and people. Every time I see a great moment in nature, I’m inspired to see another one. There’s always something over the next hill or around the bend and the anticipation never gets old. The grass isn’t always greener but it’s always different. Everyone has a story to tell and I’m interested in the ones that are not the norm. If you live outside or are living in some alternative way, it’s inspiring to me.

WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS?
My goal right now is to see as much of earth as I can and to use my iPhoneography to cover all my travel expenses. Right now it’s paying for food. I’d like to be able to look back on my life and say that I lived my life and not just got through it. Another thing I’d like to do is to take more risks. I’ve found it’s hard to build character and grow as a person when your life is easy.
