WHAT DO YOU DO?
I´m a 3D and Compositing Artist. I do CGI (computer generated imagery), visual effects, 3D animation and motion graphics (movie titles and logo animation).

WHY ARE YOU DOING IT?
First of all because I really love to be creative and CGI is a great tool that gives me a unique possibility to express myself.

It is possible to create whole worlds and amazing looking images that can look as realistic as a photo and the best thing is that the limit is your own imagination.

I also like the challenges that come with it. You always have to solve problems that occur along the way in order to get where you want.

WHAT / WHO INFLUENCES YOU?
A big influence for me are movies and the work of other creative people that work in the same area as I do. There is so much creativity around that I have much more Ideas then I can realize.

I love the sci fi and fantasy genre and very often after seeing a movie when I´m most creative I begin to work on something.

I adore artists like Ben Procter who did the concept design of many of the movies I love and Ash Thorp who does amazing motion graphics. I really love what they are doing and their work influences mine a lot!

WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS?
If you have asked me that a few years ago I probably would have told you that I wanted to work on big Hollywood movies and do visual effects.

But I more and more realize that this might not be the best way for me. I like to be free and wild. Thats where my creativity comes from and thats how I work the best.

I sometimes feel caged when working on bigger projects where you have to submit yourself in order for the project to work.
