WHAT DO YOU DO?
I’m senior designer at the Mill+ LA. It means I mostly do styleframes, modeling, lookdev and concept development. Some of the projects I worked on are True Detective Titles S3, OFFF titles Barcelona, keayrt for at tv show “The Crown”, “The story of OJ” music video, graphic and titles for a movie “Skyscraper” and work for various brands like Sony, Bentley, Apple, Lexus, Amazon and etc. I also work on a personal projects in my free time, which you can find on my Instagram `Melaamory`. I’m also trying to work on some personal shorts. Latest short movie “Something Like Loneliness”, which we made with my boyfriend got into SXSW! :)

WHY ARE YOU DOING IT?
Because it is fun and I love it. Doing design it is very satisfying. I`ve been doing it for 12 years and still can’t believe I’m being paid for it.

WHAT / WHO INFLUENCES YOU?
I remember everything started with fascination of 3d graphics because I was a big computer game fan growing up. Plus there are so many inspirational artists around. Seeing there work makes want to do more art and design. Main inspiration for switching from print to motion was seeing work of Patrick Clare and his “True Detective” titles. I got very lucky working with him on the season 3 of that show.

WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS?
It is tricky. I don’t think I know. Design is like a very complex game, where you don’t know what will be thrown at you in the future, but if you do well, the reward will be high and you can level up :). It is endless possibilities. But in the end of day I just want to be very good at what I do and being able to express myself.
